Sing along: Back to the 80’s
Join us on 13 June from 7:30pm for the second edition of our Sing Along event, this time with a band and a focus on 80’s musicals and hits!
one night. full volume. big hair encouraged.
Get ready to rewind the clock and belt it out at our next epic Cauldron Sing-Along, where you have the chance to sing your favourite song accompanied by live musicians… and this time we’re going Back to the 80s!
Together we'll dive into the electric world of 80s pop musicals and movie hits, with everything from stage classics to synth-powered anthems that defined a decade.
Expect big voices, iconic tunes, and serious nostalgia as we sing our hearts out to favourites like:
🎶 Fame • Footloose • Blues Brothers • Little Shop of Horrors • Xanadu
🎶 Blood Brothers • Miss Saigon • Chess • 9 to 5 • Roger Rabbit
🎶 The Little Mermaid • Oliver and Company
And if that’s not enough? We’ll also bring the power with 80s pop bangers like:
🎤 Don’t Stop Believin’ • Take On Me • Livin’ on a Prayer • Running Up That Hill
Whether you're a shower belter, a musical theatre nut, or just in it for the vibe — this is your night to let loose.
how it works
-
Choose your song
Take a look through our song list and choose the song you’d like to perform. You can also choose a song that’s not on our list, but then you need to submit your song and sheet music at least 1 week before.
-
Sign up for a spot
Sign up in advance to secure your spot in the running order. You can do this through a form sent after buying your ticket. It will also be possible to sign up on the night, though we may fill up!
-
Take the mic!
It’s your time to shine! Show off your talents in front of our warm and supportive audience. If you prefer to simply join and enjoy the music, that’s perfectly fine too!
Sing along… with a live band!
For this special edition, our pianist Lori is joined by a full band — with guitar, bass, and drums bringing those 80s grooves to life. You bring the vocals, we’ll bring the backing track of your dreams.
